The eight-year veteran was busted in a drug trafficking ring report New York Criminal Lawyers.

Sex suit filed against actor Steven Seagal, says a Queens Criminal Lawyer

A lady who once was employed as a personal assistant to Steven Seagal has filed a $1
million suit against the actor alleging that the duties he required were too personal,
states a Queens Criminal Lawyer. The former employee claims in her lawsuit that the
martial artist imprisoned her in his Louisiana home. The twenty-three year old was hired
in February 2009 as an executive assistant, and quickly discovered that her
responsibilities extended far beyond the office. The claim states that Seagal provided
lodging for the woman in his house, and on her first evening at the residence, he
requested a massage from her, to which she refused. Seagal, as a result, supposedly
groped her from under her shirt. She reportedly was also expected to be sexually
available to him at any time. While no comment has been made by the action star,
Seagal's attorney informed Queens Criminal Lawyers that the claims are completely
false and the woman was fired by Seagal when it was discovered that she was taking
illegal narcotics. There was no mention of which drugs the young lady was taking. At this
time, it is uncertain if any criminal charges will be filed against the actor. Outside the
accusation of her expected availability, it was not mentioned that sexual activity actually
occurred at any time during her employment beyond the claim of fondling on her first
night at his home. Queens Criminal Lawyers say there is a possibility that the suit was
filed by the former assistant in retaliation of being fired.

Accusations of sexual misconduct are a serious matter, and not something to be taken
lightly. A New York Criminal Attorney can help you fight against false allegations that

Realtor's killer smiles at victim's family, states New York City Criminal Lawyer

The personal assistant of a well respected Realtor bludgeoned her employer to death
after stealing from her. New York City Criminal Lawyers have knowledge that the assistant
was acquired through a temporary agency and had been employed mostly at the
Realtor's home for four months. Over that period of time, the assailant was using her
employer's credit cards and writing checks in her name. The two had become close
before the victim became aware of the theft. According to a conversation with a friend
just before her death, she had planned to confront the temp. The evidence reveals that
this crime was deliberate, not spontaneous. A New York City Criminal Lawyer states that the
defendant was very calculated in her plan to off the Realtor, for which she used a blunt
object that has yet to be found. She had lied to the victim's husband about his wife's
whereabouts, telling him she was walking in the park when in fact she was lying in a
pool of her own blood. She planned her exit in an effort to dodge surveillance cameras
following the incident, so her blood-stained clothes would not be seen. Cameras that
could not be avoided revealed that she turned her cargo pants inside out before leaving
to hide the blood. The murderer complained in front of New York Criminal Lawyers that
her original defense team was not competent in their representation and she did not
receive a fair trial. Her new attorney plans to file a motion to set the verdict aside, as
well as appeal the decision. He contends that his client is innocent of the horrific crime.

Evidence must be interpreted by those who were not there. Often the clues left behind
are misleading and inconclusive, and innocent parties are faced with allegations of
horrific crimes. Those accused desperately need the experience and skill of a New York
City Criminal Lawyer

Staten Island school. The executive director of the school told a New York Criminal

barrage of legal attacks are exhausting the over 30,000 employees of the firm, and the
impact is reaching into the families as well. It stands to reason that employees are

institution will be able to withstand the onslaught. However, despite the accusations,
many of the clients have maintained their loyalty to the bank and executives, as have
employees. Goldman denies allegations that investors were intentionally misled by the
firm, according to a New York Criminal Lawyer. Executives are in hopes of a favorable
outcome for the bank and it's supporters.

some in the courtroom, according to Long Island Criminal Lawyers. She was found guilty of

Guns being recycled by gangs, says a Suffolk County Criminal Lawyer

It seems that as agencies crackdown on gun running, gangs are passing guns around
more. It once was the case for many gangs that guns would be used for a single
incident, and then discarded. But currently, authorities tell New York Criminal Lawyers
that confiscated guns are being linked to more than one crime. This leads officials to
believe that violent offenders are sharing weapons with each other, as opposed to going
out of state to buy more. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and the New York
Police Department have been working together to enforce laws against gun trafficking,
and the joint efforts appear to be yielding good results, says a Suffolk County Criminal
Lawyer
. Last year, the ATF recovered 5,135 guns connected with crimes. The preceding
year, that figure was 5,537. In 2007, the total was 5,914 and in 2006, it was 7,059.
Although the number of murders has increased this year, those involving guns are at
43%, which is down from the 68% of last year. Authorities tell Suffolk County Criminal
Lawyers
that they feel that gang members are getting the message that there are severe
consequences including strict federal prison sentences when you are caught running
guns from another state. The NYPD and ATF are confident that their crackdowns on gun
trafficking will continue to produce positive returns to help clean up the streets. NYPD
has a stop-and-frisk initiative that is believed to be influencing the number of guns that
are recovered. Those with guns will only have it on their person for a specific amount of
time in order to accomplish whatever they intend to do, as opposed to just carrying
around all the time.

A New York Criminal Lawyer will assist you if you are facing felony charges involving a

Cheesy assault lands woman in jail for 25 years, according to New York Criminal Lawyer

An Australian woman was sentenced to 25 years in prison for the death of a man she
alleges she was afraid of. According to reports to New York Criminal Lawyers, the woman
was highly intoxicated and impaired when the incident occurred on June 7, 2008. The
victim and his friends apparently had been throwing cheese puffs at the woman's car
when she ran over him. The driver had consumed two bottles of wine, as well as taking
some amphetamine drugs, in addition to smoking marijuana prior to plowing over the
young man. New York Criminal Lawyers do not have any details as to what initiated the
altercation between the parties, just that the men were slinging the snacks at the
woman's car which she perceived, in her altered state, to be a terrifying threat. It was
not reported if the woman and the men were acquainted with one another in any way.
She claims her foot mistakenly hit the car's accelerator in an attempt to flee the
situation. The judge presiding over the case revealed to New York Criminal Lawyers that
it was his opinion that she was trying to teach the men a lesson. He did not feel that the
woman was provoked, but just angry that the men were embarrassing her and therefore
she proceeded to end the offending assault of food. Due to the drugs and alcohol in her
system, her manner was one of hostility and reproach. There are no indications that any
of the other men sustained any injuries during the occurrence.

A New York Criminal Attorney can help those who face criminal charges for their
