After attacking, choking and beating a woman outside a nightclub was sentences to fourteen years in prison for his action. The man wasn’t exactly the smartest thief as he took the woman’s iPhone and used it and left his own cell phone at the sight of the attack. The Civil Service Technical President who has been part of supervising the New York Transit contracts is a thief. According to various sources, the man had seven prior arrests for petty thefts using four different names. Four men were arrested after it was discovered that they billed for unnecessary dental work totaling $5.7 million over a period of 4 years in Brooklyn and Queens, reported a New York Criminal Lawyer. The four suspects are accused of luring the poor and homeless to different locations with offers of cash, McDonaldís gift certificates, and even CD players. The men allegedly would then bill Medicaid for the unnecessary dental work, mostly for dental cleanings.

The dentist involved in the scam also allegedly paid recruiters in addition to performing the services as his part of the multi-million dollar scam. The recruiters were paid in cash between $10 and $30 based on the type of service received by those recruited. Most of the victims were found at nearby methadone clinics or from homeless shelters.

The head men would instruct the hired dentists to place two-thirds of the money received from Medicaid into dummy corporations that had been developed to conceal the money. The scam is thought to have spanned from January of 2006 until the arrest in April 2010.

The dentist was held on a $50,000 bond. The two ring leaders were held on $20,000 bail and then monitored with an electronic bracelet due to their potential as a flight risk.

An off duty NYPD officer was the driver in an accident that killed himself and a peer. The reports show that the officer’s blood alcohol level was 0.16, twice the legal limit of 0.08. A Manhattan man was out on bail after being locked up for shoplifting. Then, before he could get turned around good, he was arrested again for stealing luxury loot. A Mother’s Day party in the Bronx turned violent and two youngsters lost their lives. A fifteen-year-old and a sixteen-year-old were shot early Sunday after a party. An Australian woman was sentenced to 25 years in prison for the death of a man she
alleges she was afraid of. According to reports to New York Criminal Lawyers, the woman
was highly intoxicated and impaired when the incident occurred on June 7, 2008. The
victim and his friends apparently had been throwing cheese puffs at the woman's car
when she ran over him. The driver had consumed two bottles of wine, as well as taking

A tip to police on the Westside of New York indicated that a prostitution ring was being run from an apartment there. After a brief stake out, the police arrested three individuals. An undercover officer entered the apartment and was given the choice of two women of different ethnic backgrounds. A pharmacist was waiting in the parking lot of a gas station in Plainview when detectives overheard him having a conversation on his cell phone. While police were arresting the two men, another car pulled into the Old Country Road gas station. The passenger of the car walked over to Ciskanik’s car looking for him. Two teens from Long Island were planning to put a bomb in their school and then start gunning down classmates and staff. After a soccer game in New Meadowlands Stadium, fans were headed out on foot when a drunk driver ran his car into the crowd.
