by

Lawyers and prosecutors are in agreement that Naomi Campbell has been charged with assaulting two police officers during an altercation which tood place at the luggage claim area at Heathrow Airport.

The supermodel was charged when she reported to Heathrow police station to answer over the fracas which took place in April of this year. At least that’s what was reported by her attorney.

Campbell was aboard a BA flight which was scheduled to leave for LAX when she became involved in a squabble over her luggage. Many thousands of bags had been lostat Heathrow’s Terminal 5 after its disorganized opening in late March.

Campbell was taken off the flight by force and detained held for most of the day at the airport police station. She was then released on bail.

If this happened in New York, it sounds like it would be akin to a police bail and a desk appearance ticket says a New York Criminal Lawyer.

In January 2007, Campbell pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault in New York for throwing her cell phone at her maid in a dispute over a missing pair of jeans. She was ordered to do community service and attend a two-day anger-management program.
