Sudan’s President Charged With Genocide-Don’t Face Charges Without A Queens Criminal Attorney

by

Charges of genocide were leveled against Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir, accusing him of trying to wipe out African tribes in Darfur with a violent actions and deportation.

The Sudan does recognize the court and feels the charges are politically motivated.

Luis Moreno-Ocampo attempted to get the court to issue a warrant for the apprehension of al-Bashir so that the millions of deaths he planned could not be carried out in Darfur which is still being attacked by the government-backed janjaweed militia.

The terrible killing continues and must be stopped say Moreno-Ocampo. “Seventy-year-old women, 6-year-old girls are raped,” he said.

Moreno-Ocampo was undeterred by concern that his indictment against al-Bashir might ignite a storm of vengeance against Darfur refugees and spur Sudan to shut out relief agencies and possibly peacekeeping troops.

These charges must be persued. No one is above the law and if the evidence shows that these things are going on, justice must prevail. These were the thoughts of Richard Dicker who is the director of the program.

If you or a friend or a member of your family is arrested, hiring a Queens Criminal Lawyer is essential for you. Not having a Queens Criminal Attorney will lead to problems which could in turn lead to incarceration.

Despots like Serb leader Slobodan Milosevic and Charles Taylor of Liberia have been charged with international crimes and brought to justice. Milosevic died in custody in The Hague and Taylor is on trial as this new charge develops.

The firm of Stephen Bilkis & Associates and its New York Crime Lawyers with convenient locations in the New York Metropolitan Area including Elmont, NY, can be of invaluable assistance to you if you find yourself a defendant in a criminal action.
