New York Criminal Defense Lawyer reports Yankee pitcher Joba Chamberlain’s mother under arrest for making threats.

by

Joba Chamberlain’s mom, Jacqueline Standley, is in the news again. She was arrested for drug selling and is awaiting her day in court. She was caught when she ran into an undercover cop as her client for the “speed” she was hawking. This time she has been charged with disturbing the peace. She allegedly called the cell phone of an ex friend and left a threatening voice mail. The woman went to police and had Stadley arrested. Joba had no comment as Standley now has to show up before the judge for two offenses. Pitching for the Yanks has to be easier than dealing with mom’s rap sheet.
