Off Duty NYPD Officer Drunk Behind the Wheel Reports Some New York Criminal Lawyers

An off duty NYPD officer was the driver in an accident that killed himself and a peer. The reports show that the officer’s blood alcohol level was 0.16, twice the legal limit of 0.08. His peer was a passenger in the automobile when the crash took place on the northbound Bronx River Parkway at East 233rd street. Four other passengers in the crash were injured but their injuries were non-life threatening. The destination of the two officers was unknown as was their previous location.
