Woman Assaulted in Carroll Gardens

A woman was attacked by a pair of thugs in Carroll Gardens, polices sources told a New York Criminal Lawyer.
The two assailants, aged 20 and 26 years, were at Smith and Ninth streets when the 20-year-old suspect tossed some sort of liquid on a woman walking to the elevated station, police sources told a New York Criminal Lawyer.
The victim, a 43-year-old woman, confronted her 20-year-old assailant, who then punched the victim in the mouth as the 26-year-old choked her, authorities told a New York Criminal Lawyer.
Sources also relate to New York Criminal Lawyers, that the attackers took the victim’s pearl necklaces and threatened her with broken glass.
The victim managed to get away from her younger attackers and call 911. Police were soon on hand to arrest the suspects on charges of assault and grand larceny, a spokesman for a district attorney told a New York Criminal Lawyer.
The final judicial fate of the two assailants has yet to be determined at this time. There is no further update on the status of the victim of the assault, either.
