Chrissie Brodigan, 32, claims she was walking in Williamsburg at the Bedford Ave train station when she was assaulted by a New York Police Department Officer. Brodigan claims to have been punched in the back, roughly cuffed and have had her ankles kicked apart by Officer Joel Witriol after he noticed that she did not have her dog in a carrier. Brodigan says he cannot be in a carrier because he is too scared. She was cited for not carrying her dog in a case, disorderly conduct and failure to identify herself.
