Principal under arrest for assault after an argument with her husband needs a New York Criminal Lawyer

Lisa Gibbs, the principal of Brooklyn’s School for Global Studies has been arrested for stabbing her husband with a box cutter after an argument of infidelity. Gibbs is now facing 6 misdemeanor charges including assault with intent to cause injury, criminal possession of a weapon, menacing and harassment. Her husband, who struck her during the altercation, was also arrested for assault. Gibbs has taken a leave of absence from the school since the incident. Both parties were arraigned at Queens Criminal Court; located at 120 Schermerhorn St. Brooklyn, NY 11201. Both were given an order of protection against the party and were released on their own recognizance.
