Refusal to accept responsibility for ones actions puts pressure on judicial system

In times of stress or threatening situations, it is amazing how many people try to place blame on something external for their faults. According to a New York Criminal Lawyer, people will say just about anything to get out from between the rock and the hard place that they have found themselves in. Though no one will argue for a moment that the founding fathers of our country were honest and forthright in all of their dealings, explained the N York Criminal Lawyer, it is at least fair to say that they were, at least in some sense, looking out for the greater good of the nation that they were trying to build.

Not so for some people. Take, for instance, the case of an Ohio man who tried to blame his DUI on iconic rock singer Ozzy Osbourne. According to the man charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, the heavy metal music that the driver was playing led him to drive illegally after drinking. This example is a blatant attempt to circumvent the personal responsibility that each of us has to keep both ourselves and our fellow humans safe from harm.

The NYC Criminal Lawyer went on to suggest that the lies and blame that people resort to in situations where they feel threatened, whether or not what they did was wrong, back logs our already strained legal system as the truth is being searched for. What this boils down to is a system that is filled to overflowing with bogus stories, which is a huge waste of time and money for all of us. Essentially, what needs to happen is that people need to be responsible for their failures and mistakes as well as take credit for their successes and strengths. In doing so, our nation will become a better place.

California Man Arrested for DUI Following Crash

Sources have told a New York Criminal Lawyer that a California man was arrested late Thursday following a vehicle crash that left three people injured including the man that officers say caused the crash. At approximately 8:35 p.m. Wednesday evening, the California Highway Patrol (CHP) began receiving reports of a vehicle on northbound 101 driving in the wrong direction. As officers were en route to the location stated in the reports, they began hearing additional reports of a four or five vehicle collision in the vicinity of the location of the previous reports.
During the course of their investigation, CHP officers learned that as the vehicle that had been driving in the wrong direction entered the freeway, it had struck a vehicle and as it traveled the wrong way, it had struck two additional vehicles. It was after this that the driver of the vehicle reportedly lost control, struck the center divider, and rolled over multiple times, witnesses explained to a NY Criminal Attorney.
First responders on the scene used the jaws-of-life to extricate the wrong way driver from his vehicle. The man received a broken leg and multiple facial fractures, but before being transported to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for treatment, he was arrested for “suspicion of felony DUI and driving without a license,” officers reported. A person riding in the vehicle was also taken the hospital to be treated for cuts. That person was later released from the hospital.
The driver of one of the vehicles that was struck by the DWI suspect also had to be extricated from her vehicle. She sustained a broken leg and hip. No one else involved in the crash sustained any injuries.
A few of the eyewitnesses of the crash spoke with the New York Criminal Lawyer. One eyewitness stated that she was just trying to get out of the way of the oncoming vehicle and that she was afraid that someone was going to get hurt. Another witness commented that the wrong way driver had barely missed him by inches.
Traffic was affected for about three hours as CHP completed their investigation and the accident debris was cleaned up by workers.

Sheriff’s Deputy Arrested and Charged

As part of an ongoing journalistic investigation, a New York Criminal Lawyer has learned that a sheriff’s deputy has been arrested and charged as part of a broader conspiracy that has already lead to other arrests within local police departments. It is alleged that each of the arrested men, conspired to sell drugs that were scheduled to be destroyed by the police department, as well as making specified DUI arrests that resulted in cash payments.
There are at least three individuals that have been arrested as part of this ongoing police investigation. One is the sheriff’s deputy, another is a former police commander, and another is a private investigator. Each of them is currently out on bail and awaiting the conclusion of this investigation and possible impending trial.
Apart from the selling of impounded drugs that were scheduled for destruction, one of the groups more dastardly alleged plots was to use DWI stops in order to tarnish an individual’s reputation before a set trial date. While another alleged plot was a DUI stop on the husbands of some of the private investigator’s female clients that were seeking cause for divorce.
A more recent incident, discovered by NYC Criminal Lawyers, was when the deputy visited the home of the reserve officer who had been in on the DUI arrests. It was during this visit that he handed the officer an unlicensed, non-exempt AR-15 in a trash bag because he thought he would be searched because of his association with one of those who had already been arrested.
The local sheriff has told New York Criminal Lawyers that due to its own deputy’s involvement, they have formally requested that the Department of Justice assume control of the investigation. The sheriff also stated of the devastating affects on the department because of these arrests.
There are many ongoing concerns with this case. Of course, the obvious concerns of a current deputy sheriff, a former police commander, and a private investigator, with each of them having current or past positions of trust and authority that have allegedly overstepped their boundaries. Yet, there is the other concern of how many ongoing civil and criminal cases are about to be effected because of this.

Woman Drives Under Influence, Crashes into House

Drinking and driving is a serious offense and it is an infinitely dangerous activity. It causes property damage, physical and emotional damage and death in the worst cases, says a New York Criminal Lawyer. While intoxicated, an individual is impaired by alcohol and its effects on the body, culminating in a loss of coordination and the ability to safely drive an automobile.

Someone should have told the 26 year old woman who drove her car into a house that drinking and driving increase the risk of danger associated with driving exponentially. Perhaps she would have stayed home that night instead of plowing her car through someone else’s living room. A NY Criminal Attorney reported that the woman was apparently driving under the influence of alcohol when she lost control of her Lincoln and it went careening off of the road, smashing into a house in a residential neighborhood.

The NYC Criminal Lawyer revealed that the room that the car crashed into was occupied by one of the residents of the household, but no injuries were sustained by them in the accident. The woman who was behind the wheel was charged with DWI, operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and operating a motor vehicle to endanger. She was also charged for marked lane violations.

According to the Manhatan Criminal lawyer, after the accident the woman was taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries that were not life threatening and subsequently released into police custody. No information regarding the damages done to the house has been made available.

Security for Public Buildings to be Stepped up in Light of School Board Shooting

Life takes some unexpected turns now and then and recently, a group of people were witness to an angry man who eventually shot himself in their presence. The end result of this particular story was that school boards and other public facilities across the nation have started to take an in-depth look at their security commented a New York Criminal Lawyer.
Places like divorce courts, child custody settings and contentious legal battles over other legal matters where emotions tend to run amok. These days; just about everyone that comes into a public building is regarded with suspicion even the seemingly ordinary individual. After all, it was a seemingly normal man who held a school board group hostage with his handgun.
The hardest thing to consider in instances like this is what the person’s intentions are. No one can really know the intentions of another. Accordingly, most law enforcement people are always prepared for the worst to happen and everyone is a suspect explained the New York City Criminal Lawyer. Shockingly, court houses have screened pepper spray, razor blades, huge knives and other weapons. As a result of that, courthouse deputies are now highly trained to spot people who are acting differently.
While it’s a good idea to have this kind of security in place, even with trained personnel, things can and do go wrong. Sometimes, there is just no warning and incidents happen out of the blue. It’s hard to know when someone is going to go postal. Someone who may have been planning an attack for days, months or years may, by the time the day comes to take action, be calm and collected, showing no outward signs of agitation indicated the New York Criminal Lawyer.
It goes without saying that the man involved in the school board shooting, had he not taken his own life, would have needed a New York Criminal Lawyer. Everyone one, no matter what they have been charged with, is entitled to a criminal defense. It’s the law of the land.
In any situation where you are charged or about to be charged with a criminal offense, make your first phone call to a New York Criminal Attorney. Say nothing to anyone and make any explanations to “only” your New York Criminal Attorney.

Elderly Ron Jon Surf Shop Founder Keeps It Loko, but at a Cost

Ron Jon Surf Shop is a veritable empire of marketing and branding in the world of surfing. It is one of the most recognizable names in the history of the sport. It's founder, Ron DiMenna, may be getting old but apparently he still knows how to party, according to a New York Criminal Lawyer.

DiMenna, 73, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol last December when police found a half empty can of the popular alcoholic energy drink Four Loko in his pickup truck during a traffic stop. Four Loko has attracted a lot of media attention recently, working its way up to the level of obsession for college students and party goers, alike.

One can of Four Loko apparently has the alcohol equivalent of six light beers and the caffeine equivalent of two strong cups of black coffee. It is a veritable party in 16 ounces, and not for the lightweight drinker. According to the New York Criminal Lawyer, Four Loko has already been banned on a number of college and University campuses and is becoming more difficult to find on store shelves.

The New York Criminal Lawyer also went on to say that the beverage seems to give those who consume it a false sense that they are okay to drive, which, police assert, is NOT actually true. Consuming Four Loko and getting behind the wheel of a motor vehicle is not only dangerous, but it is illegal in all fifty states. Ron DiMenna was booked and later released on $5500 bail, which no doubt was a great reason to celebrate. It is hopeful that at the age of 73, Ron Jon will learn from his mistakes and not celebrate in a way that could put other people at risk.

Wisdom may come with age, but no matter how old we get we cannot know everything, especially where legal advice is concerned. Call a New York Criminal Attorney for support and representation. A qualified New York Criminal Attorney is your best offense and defense where legal knowledge is concerned.

Michael Lohan Fails to Pay Child Support

Lindsay Lohan has had a very public life. Her ups and downs are well catalogued in the press. Her life's time line is nothing more than a series of newspaper clippings, each one showing a further slide into madness. What's sad is that her life demonstrates that in our celebrity obsessed culture one celebrity's parents can easily make news. Michael Lohan, the infamous father of the infamous starlet, had made the news, this time for having failed to pay child support (not to Lindsay, but to another child he has by a different woman), reports a New York Criminal Lawyer. There will likely be no pity paid to the man; after all, he and Linday's mother are directly responsible for pushing their daughter into a dark world of drugs, fame, obsession, and decline. That he and the mother seem to crave the spotlight as much as their daughter should be no surprise.

And a New York judge didn't care one bit. The judge told Michael Lohan point blank: pay your child support or your going back to jail, noted a New York Criminal Lawyer. Lohan's defense is questionable. Claims the famed father, he was on parole when the Montana based woman declared him the father, and because he was on parole he never had the opportunity to challenge the results, said a New York Criminal Lawyer. He then states that he was late on paying support most recently because of financial troubles? Kidnapping? No. Because of the November 2nd elections, said a New York Criminal Lawyer.

Failure to pay child support can result in jail time and a New York Criminal Attorney can help. If you find yourself behind on child support call today.

Rapper T.I. Avoids Drug Charges

Famed rapper T.I. has had a recent string of bad news but a Los Angeles area prosecutor decided to cut the artist a break. Earlier this year T.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris, was arrested by authorities. The arrest was for possession of drugs and took place after a routine traffic stop, said a New York Criminal Lawyer. A day after the arrest T.I. failed a drug test. The arrest and drug test failure resulted in the rapping icon violating his parole. As a result, Clifford "T.I." Harris was ordered back to prison where he will serve the remainder of his 11 month sentence, reports a New York Criminal Lawyer.

Prosecutors had the option of charging T.I. with the offense, trying him, and then having him serve the time after his Atlanta-based jail time was finished. However, they used their prosecutorial discretion and dropped the charges, notes a New York Criminal Lawyer. It is a silver of a silver lining on an otherwise quite dark cloud, for T.I. Not so lucky may be the woman accompanying T.I. at the time of the arrest. Prosecutors have not decided whether they will charge her with drug possession.

T.I. was out on parole for a weapons based offense. The rapper had attempted to illegally purchase several high powered machine guns in Atlanta, said a New York Criminal Lawyer. He briefly served jail time but was to spent the rest of his time in public service, mentoring the youth of the community, advising them of how they could avoid a similar fate.

Drug and weapon based offenses are serious matters and often require intense legal maneuvering. If you find yourself in a situation similar to T.I. immediately contact a New York Based Criminal Attorney.

Fan Who Rushed onto Yankee Stadium Was After A-Rod

A fan ran onto Yankee Stadium field during a game to confront A-Rod about his love for Cameron Diaz, sources told a New York Criminal Lawyer. Apparently, the fan had a crush of his own on Diaz, and did not enjoy the competition.
The 33-year-old fan was taken down by security at the Stadium when he tried to rush the third baseman at the top of the fifth inning during Game 3 of the American League Championship Series, tackling him to the ground.
Police found a picture in the suspect’s pocket of Alex Rodriguez with his face crossed out and a drawing of a small gun pointed at his head. Written on the photo were the words, “You gotta go, buddy.” As for A-Rod, he had no comment, perhaps smarting over his team’s painful 10-3 loss to the Texas Rangers.
The suspect’s vendetta did not end with A-Rod, either. He also told police, according to a New York Criminal Lawyer, that he wanted to kill Bobby Brown, because Osama Bin Laden has a crush on his wife, Whitney Houston.
“He gave a rambling interview that he had an infatuation with Cameron Diaz,” sources told a New York Criminal Lawyer. “He thought by going out and choking A-Rod, he’d be a hero to her.” The suspect had also recently changed his name to market a 700-page book he is attempting to sell. “I think it’s publicity for his book,” his mother told a New York Criminal Lawyer. “I’m sure he’s fine.”

Four Found Guilty of Bombing Plot

Four men were caught in an FBI sting and convicted of planning to bomb a Bronx synagogue and shoot down military planes with heat-seeking surface-to-air missiles, reports a New York Criminal Lawyer.
The four men, all of Newburgh, New York, were arrested in May 2009 in Riverdale. They planted what they thought were real bombs – fakes provided by an undercover FBI informant. They face life in prison for a number of charges. The sentencing is not set to begin until March.
Their defense argued they were mere patsies who were entrapped by the FBI into a plot they would never have thought of on their own. They are planning to appeal. “We will fight again. We’re not done yet,” said one attorney to a New York Criminal Lawyer.
The jury deliberated for eight days before coming to a decision. “This was a miscarriage of justice – just like this whole investigation and trial,” another attorney said to a New York Criminal Lawyer. The four men were led to believe they would blow up a synagogue and Jewish center in the Bronx, and shoot military planes out of the sky.
Prosecutors countered defense claims of entrapment by displaying a disarmed Stinger missile and reminding the jurors that the men not only believed it was armed, but they were prepared to use it. “The defendants in this case agreed to plant bombs and use missiles they thought were very real weapons of terrorism. We are safer today as a result of these convictions,” a Manhattan U.S. Attorney told a NY Criminal Lawyer.
Everyone accused of a crime, no matter what it is, deserves a good defense. If you or a loved one have been accused of a crime, a New York Criminal Attorney is that good defense. Your side of the story needs to be heard, and a New York Criminal Attorney will assure you are properly represented.

Innocent Teenager Killed in Drive-By

An East Harlem teenager, well-loved by her community, was the innocent victim of a murderous drive-by shooting, early on October 3rd, 2010, sources tell New York Criminal Lawyers. She was simply sitting with friends in the courtyard of her mother’s apartment building.
The 17-year-old girl collapsed on the street, trailing blood from the playground where she was shot. The teenager, who was a student at the Urban Assembly School for Business for Young Women, was pronounced dead 25 minutes later at Harlem Hospital.
“She told the friend she was with, ‘I’m cold. I think I was shot,’”, a neighbor said to a New York Criminal Lawyer. These were her last words.
Sources told New York Criminal Lawyers that they believe a van drove by and a man inside opened fire on the yard where the victim and her friends were gathered. According to witnesses, several other men had just snuck into the area through a fence, not long before the shots were fired.
“It had something to do with [another girl and an] old boyfriend-new boyfriend,” a source told a NY Criminal Lawyer. “[The victim] had nothing to do with it.”
A 30-year-old man who had been in the courtyard was found on East 126th Street only minutes after the shooting, with a bullet in his thigh. He was taken to Bellevue Hospital and declared to be in stable condition. The girl was described as a both ambitious and popular. She wanted to become an accountant.
Every story has two sides and everyone, no matter what they’ve done, have the right to defense against accusation. A New York Criminal Attorney is the best kind of defense. Representation could very well be the most important part of your case. You can be assured a New York Criminal Lawyer provides the very best representation possible.

Connecticut Man Found Guilty of Murders

All that’s left is the sentencing – which could be the death penalty.
A man convicted of breaking into a home has been convicted of capital murder in a case involving the horrific killings of a Connecticut nurse and her two daughters, sources tell New York Criminal Lawyers. The conviction was difficult for family members, including the father who survived the attacks, but now they must suffer another trial, in which a jury must decide whether the murderer should be put to death.
The 47-year-old crack addict and career burglar raped and strangled the nurse after binding her wrists and ankles in her living room. He also helped his 29-year-old accomplice murder the daughters, ages 17 and 11 by tying them to their beds, dousing them with gasoline and burning them alive. Both died of smoke inhalation, sources told a New York Criminal Lawyer.
The younger girl had been raped by the 29-year-old assailant, according to DNA evidence, while the older girl collapsed on the landing outside her bedroom, still aflame, after her restraints had burned through.
Only the father survived the random attack, clubbed nearly to death. He broke free just before his house burst into flames, and made his way across two backyards, still bound by the ankles, to summon help, sources told a NY Criminal Lawyer.
The 47-year-old murderer confessed to the rape and murder of the mother, but claimed his accomplice insisted he did so to “square things up” after the younger man raped the little girl. Prosecutors insist both were equally culpable in the brutal attack and both should receive the maximum penalty.
Every crime, no matter how big or small, deserves its day in court. A New York Criminal Attorney is the best possible advocate to have when that day in court arrives. Your fate is on the line when you are accused of criminal activity, but there are no better hands in which to place your fate than those of a New York Criminal Attorney.

Times Square Bomber Gets Life Sentence

Naturalized U.S. citizen Faisal Shahzad was given a life sentence in prison for driving a vehicle full of bombs into New York’s Time Square, sources told a New York Criminal Lawyer. There is no parole in the federal penal system.
“The defendant has repeated expressed his total lack of remorse and his desire, if given the opportunity, to repeat the crime,” the judge said. “Allahu Akbar,” Shahzad replied in Arabic. The words mean “God is great”. The 31-year-old Shahzad was born in Pakistan.
Shahzad worked with the Taliban in Pakistan and was in a terrorist training camp only months before he became an American citizen, according to New York Criminal Lawyers. When asked by the judge about the oath of allegiance he took to become an American citizen, Shahzad said, “I did swear, but I did not mean it.”
He began the proceedings by saying, “If I’m given 1,000 lives I will sacrifice them all for the life of Allah.” Shahzad pleaded guilty and said at the time that his attack was vengeance for the deaths of Muslims. He denounced the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
“The past nine years, the war with Muslims has achieved nothing for the U.S. except that it has awakened Muslims from their slumber. We are only trying to defend our religion, our people, our honor, and our land. If you call us terrorist for doing that, then we are proud terrorist, and we will keep on terrorizing until you leave our land and our people at peace.”
If you or a loved one has been accused of a crime, it is not an automatic jail sentence, especially if a New York Criminal Lawyer is your advocate. Your side of the story has to be heard and a NY Criminal Lawyer is the best possible person to tell it.

A former assistant to a Walt Disney corporate communications chief admitted in court that she tried to sell confidential information in a scheme with her boyfriend, according to a New York Criminal Lawyer.
She pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit securities fraud and one count of wire fraud before a U.S. Magistrate Judge, legal sources told a New York Criminal Lawyer. New York Criminal Lawyers have learned the former assistant is free on $50,000 bond and is at her home in Los Angeles.

NY Mets Francisco Rodriguez Plans for Bout with Lawyers

He can throw a baseball nearly 100 miles per hour without breaking a sweat - and it was that same arm speed, strength, and velocity that New York Mets star baseball relief pitcher Francisco Rodriguez used when he violently punched the father of his girlfriend. The reportedly brutal assault took place as friends, family, and loved ones all watched in noted shock and disbelief. Reports a New York Criminal Lawyer, Rodriguez's girlfriend and her father have hired an attorney and are looking into filing suit against Rodriguez.

Though the six foot, one hundred and ninety five pound Rodriguez and his girlfriend were not married the two had children and lived together, says a New York Criminal Lawyer. Both Rodriguez's girlfriend and her father have successfully filed for orders of protection, which require Rodriguez to keep his distance from the two. The brawl between Rodriguez and the man reportedly arose after the man yelled an insult at Rodriguez's mother, said a New York Criminal Lawyer.

The four time All Star relief pitcher was immediately suspended by the New York Mets for two games following the altercation, reported a New York Criminal Lawyer. Just a few days later the Mets closer admitted that he had done substantial damage to his valuable throwing hand. Rodriguez revealed that he'd torn ligaments in his right thumb. The damage to his hand may jeopardize his playing career and as a result the New York Mets have looked into voiding the remaining years on Rodriguez's contract.

Bronx Judge Denies Gambling Charges

A Bronx judge continues to deny allegations of gambling addiction, according to a New York Criminal Lawyer. It is also alleged that he is the target of loansharks who are known to hurt people who don’t pay them. If he is in danger, the judge and his lawyer refuse to say whether he owed $500,000 to the Queens woman who claimed he owed her the cash.
The woman sued the judge, and he did not show up to work the next day. She claims he borrowed the money from her to avoid being pursued by the loansharks he owed. The judge’s lawyer has said his client will fight the suit.
“[He] is not a gambler and has never been a gambler,” the lawyer said. “He’s never had a relationship with a loanshark.” He described the 57-year-old judge as a “social acquaintance” of the Queens woman, according to a New York Criminal Lawyer. They attended law school at SUNY at the same time.
It is her claim that the judge started borrowing money from her in the late 1980s, saying that “loansharks would soon break my legs and hurt my children.” Even when the debt reached half a million dollars, “the defendant continues his illicit gambling, subsidizing his losses with his NYS paycheck,” a New York Criminal Lawyer has learned.

Terrorist or Criminal? The Debate Continues.

The news that the accused Times Square bomber was read his rights has restarted the controversy over whether terror suspects should be treated as enemy combatants or as criminals, according to a New York Criminal Lawyer.
“The Supreme Court has held there’s no constitutional obligation to give him Miranda rights,” Rep. Pete King (R-Long Island) told a NY Criminal Lawyer. He was referencing the right to remain silent and have legal representation. The alleged bomber, Faisal Shahzad, “should be interrogated as much as possible and we should get every last bit of information out of him,” Representative King continued.
According the White House, the Pakistan-born Shahzad was first interrogated by law enforcement and intelligence officials under what is known as a “ticking time bomb” exception to the Miranda laws. Only then was he offered Miranda rights. Sources in the administration tell New York Criminal Lawyers that Shahzad continued to cooperate, even after that.
King and others have charged that was not good enough and Shahzad requires more interrogation by intelligence agents.“If they [investigators] make a judgment that this was a terrorist act, then person should be turned over the military,” Sen. Joseph Lieberman (I-Conn.) told a New York Criminal Lawyer.

Facts about heroine and possession of drugs

A New York Heroin Possession Lawyer will inform you that unfortunately, Heroin Possession is one of the most used drugs in New York. This drug takes a substantial toll not only on the users themselves, but on their families, surrounding communities, and law enforcement. Not only the District Attorney, but the U.S. Attorney on the federal level aggressively pursues Heroin Possession. The Federal government has a stake in the pursuit of these crimes, because foreign drug cartels use the funds obtained from their illegal activities to wage their battle against the United States.

In the State of New York, if you are caught with Heroin, you are charged with “Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance,” which is a Misdemeanor. Legal problems multiply for Goldman Sachs, says a NY Criminal Lawyer

Troubles for Goldman Sachs are ever increasing as more lawsuits and subpoenas are
being filed against the bank. The legal blasts have rocked the firm's stock interests,
causing unrest within. The bank came under fire when charged with fraud by the
Securities and Exchange Commission. A NY Criminal Lawyer has gotten word that
the firm is also under a criminal investigation by federal agents. Now, some shareholders
have filed lawsuits against Goldman claiming fiduciary duty breach, abuse of power,
mismanagement, frivolous spending, and unjust enhancement, and some criticize the
disclosure policies of the bank. Goldman's connection to an insider trading charge
against a trader has led to the addition of a subpoena to the bank's legal woes, reports a
NY Criminal Lawyer. This case is associated with another federal pursuit. The
barrage of legal attacks are exhausting the over 30,000 employees of the firm, and the
impact is reaching into the families as well. It stands to reason that employees are
concerned about the future of their company, and the financial toll these suits will cause.
There is no indication of just how long these proceedings could go on, and if the financial
institution will be able to withstand the onslaught. However, despite the accusations,
many of the clients have maintained their loyalty to the bank and executives, as have
employees. Goldman denies allegations that investors were intentionally misled by the
firm, according to a New York Criminal Lawyer. Executives are in hopes of a favorable
outcome for the bank and it's supporters.

White collar crimes have implications that can be as far reaching as other criminal
charges. If you are accused of insider trading, fraud, or any other type of white collar
crime, you will require the special dedication found in a New York Criminal Attorney. Get

Football player absolved of assault charge, so states a NY Criminal Lawyer

A player for the NFL team, Pittsburg Steelers, will not face sexual assault charges after an encounter with a college student in a nightclub that occurred on March 5th. The young lady accused the man of attacking her in the Milledgeville, GA club Capital City. Because the allegation could not be proven beyond all reasonable doubt, the 20 year old decided not to proceed with charges; therefore no arrest was made according to a NY Criminal Lawyer. Her primary statement was that the man had been drinking with his friends after his birthday celebration then assaulted her, but she was found to be heavily inebriated and investigators found the results of her rape kit to prove inconclusive. The Ocmulgee Circuit DA stated that the actions of the man that night were not being condoned, but morals are not prosecuted, crimes are. With all current evidence being considered, it cannot be determined that an actual crime took place therefore this case will not proceed any further, says a NY Criminal Lawyer. The football player has another fight to contend with, as he has also been sued by a different woman claiming he raped her at a hotel and casino in Lake Tahoe in 2008. He denies this accusation and no criminal charges have been brought forth in that case either. Investigation into this case is still pending. It is unclear to NY Criminal Injury Lawyers what effect, if any, these allegations and proceedings will have on his future in the NFL.

A New York Criminal Lawyer is your best ally when you are facing criminal charges. If you have been accused of a crime you did not commit, you need a highly experienced New York Criminal Lawyer to represent you. Your future could depend on it.

Thief In A Taxi Cab is Captured & Confesses Says NY Criminal Lawyer

Trying to rob a bank with a get-away for protection is one thing. Trying to do the same thing and use a taxi to leave the scene is simply ridiculous. Apparently though, the crime is one that plays out more often than the imagination can conceive. Not even it he movies do taxi-riding bandits get away with robbery. And, a NY Criminal Lawyer may be able to help but will probably find a bit of humor in the approach as well.

In this particular case, the suspect can tell about entering a Bank on Broadway near West 145th Street in Wet Harlem on a Wednesday morning. A NY Criminal Lawyer can be of great assistance in a case like this.

The suspect entered the branch, gave the teller a note demanding money and repeatedly the mantra “Right now!” according to witnesses. The teller put approximately $1,400 in the bag but was smart enough to put a dye pack in between the bills. After the suspect jumped in the cab, the pack exploded she jumped out of the cab. This silliness doesn’t end here; she then flagged down another cab to try to get away. She was captured Tuesday and confessed to an earlier attempted robbery on New Year’s Eve. And, one other taxi-bank-robbing-bandit was caught as well and was arrested for alleged bank robberies.

Robbery is a very serious criminal charge and although there are some funny aspects to this particular case, the penalties are nothing to chuckle at. Only an experienced New York Criminal Lawyer can save the apprehended person from the worst consequences. The law can be harsh and if you don't have an attorney, you will feel the wrath.+
