Arkansas Arrests Former Seattle Deputy

A former sheriff’s deputy from King County, Washington, was arrested in Arkansas. The arrest came as part of an investigation that was prompted when the former deputy applied for a job with an Arkansas Sheriff’s Office narcotics task force.
The former deputy had resigned from his post in Washington in order to move closer to his family in Arkansas. However, prior to his resignation, he was already under investigation in Washington State for first-degree theft, which stipulated that he had kept drugs that were assigned to him as a training tool for his K-9 partner. After the former deputy had applied for the Arkansas position, the U.S. Marshals were then notified to assist in the investigation due to the Washington State charges there were pending.
The King County Sheriff’s Office told NY City Criminal Lawyers that they take their position of trust seriously, and once it was learned that the narcotics was unaccounted for that they began an investigation immediately. The Sheriff’s Office spokesperson went on to add that the public trust means everything to them.
As part of the former deputy’s duties in Washington, his last assignment was as a K-9 officer. K-9 officers are routinely issued narcotics that are stored in the local drug task forces inventory for training purposes. The former deputy is reported to have kept narcotics with a value of more than $44,000. Under normal operating procedure when officers are issued narcotics for K-9 training purposes, they are required to return the narcotics to the inventory and not store them in their patrol car, nor are they to be taken home with the officer.
As a part of the ongoing investigation, a NY Criminal Lawyer learned that when investigators searched the former deputy’s home as a result of a tip from his estranged wife, a cooler was discovered in the rafters of his home. The cooler contained a bag of marijuana, as well as other containers that were marked with “coke” and “meth.” Many of the bags that were listed as having narcotics in them were discovered to be empty. The investigation into drug possession is continuing.
Have you recently been brought into the criminal justice system and do not know where to turn? A New York Criminal Attorney stands ready to speak for you and work toward a satisfactory resolution to your legal problem.

Man Arrested for DUI Refuses Tests

A 28 year old man was arrested in Amherst, New York after being pulled over by State Troopers on Interstate 290, according to a New York Criminal Lawyer. Sources say that the man was driving his Red Subaru Imprezna erratically and appeared to be intoxicated. He was clocked by police as speeding at 74 mph.

Upon investigation of the man, reports the NY Criminal Lawyer, State Troopers also determined that he was driving with a suspended license. The man was given the standard field sobriety tests on the roadside, which determined that he was driving while he was intoxicated. Police arrested the man and took him into custody, where he refused to submit to any other chemical test to verify his level of intoxication.

The New York City Criminal Lawyer reports that the man was charged with several different offenses, including violating the speed limit, driving while intoxicated, DWI, and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the 3rd degree. All of these charges aside, it is not known whether or not he would have been charged with additional offenses had he submitted to the chemical sobriety tests that were requested of him.

The New York Criminal Lawyer went on to say that it is legal to refuse such tests and it is within our legal rights to do so. The man asserted his rights, and though he was still charged with the obvious offenses, no other action could have been taken against him since in that instance. The man is currently scheduled to appear in court on January 19, 2011.

Family faces charges of Illegal Re-Entry to the US

A 43-year old mother of an alleged 14-year-old assassin for a Mexican drug cartel was recently charged with entering the United States illegally, according to New York Criminal Lawyers.

The suspect and her husband were arrested and taken from their apartment of eight years to be federally charged with illegal re-entry after previous deportation according to local police reports.

The mother was originally deported back in 1997 for possession of rock cocaine according to police reports. There is no record of her applying for permission back into the States, New York Criminal Lawyers affirmed. Her husband was also previously deported in May of 2002.

It is not yet known what prompted the arrest, but New York Criminal Lawyers related that the couple was arrested in front of their other elementary school-aged children, who were taken from the couple at the scene.

The 14-year old alleged assassin, who has admitted to participating in at least four beheadings, is being held in a protected location while Mexican Authorities search for evidence of citizenship and other details. The boy was reportedly born in San Diego.

His two older sisters are being held in a Mexico City detention facility for one month while authorities continue to investigate their possible ties to organized crime, New York Criminal Attorneys explained.

In a related story, three suspects were arrested this week for possibly working for the same drug gang located in the central Mexican city of Cuernavaca. Arresting army troops were led to an area where suspects allegedly buried at least two of their homicide victims.

Unusual Drinking While Not Driving Case Makes Headlines

Just when you thought you had heard it all, along comes a case with an unusual twist recounted a New York Criminal Lawyer. In this case, a man was found drunk and in the driver’s seat, but, had not been driving.
The man, who had been arrested, had always stuck to his story that he was not drinking and driving and in fact, when he slid off an icy road on the way home, he was stone cold sober. He texted his girlfriend and told her he had crashed, grabbed a bottle of brandy he along with him in the car and drank it to stay warm. He figured it would be a good thing to do while he was waiting for help to get out of his predicament.
Two hours after he had crashed, rescue crews arrived and found him unresponsive. When they tested his blood alcohol content, it was 0.148. He was arrested and charged with DUI explained the New York Criminal Lawyer. During his trial the whole story was retold and when the jury retired to deliberate, they found for driver. Good thing too, otherwise he would have spent a year in the clink and been hit with a fine of $1,000.
This story could just as easily have been about a man totally blotted out of his mind with drink, sliding off the road into the ditch. That has happened. Those charged with DUI need a good NY Criminal Lawyer on their side to help them navigate their way through the justice system. It’s not easy and if you don’t have an experienced lawyer helping you, the consequences could be far worse than you may imagine.

Governor Paterson Pardons Six Immigrants at Risk for Deportation

After a clemency process aimed at assisting green card holders at risk of deportation because of past criminal convictions, and a meeting with his pardon panel, Governor David A. Paterson pardoned six out of 1,100 immigrants Monday including a financial administrator from the City University of New York, a New York Criminal Lawyer related.

“Federal immigration laws,” Paterson said, “are often inflexible, arbitrarily applied and excessively harsh, resulting in the deportation of individuals who have paid the price for their crimes and are now making positive contributions to our society. These pardons represent an attempt to achieve fairness and justice.”

New York Criminal Lawyers predict the governor will issue another batch of pardons before his term ends this month.

Dominican immigrant, Mario Benitez, 58, who pleaded guilty to selling controlled substances and served three years in prison, is the administrator who was pardoned. He is the current assistant director of finance for CUNY’s Graduate School and University Center. The panel praised Mr. Benitez’s accomplishments since his release from prison, most notably his rise “to jobs with higher levels of responsibility” as well as his mentoring and community involvement in the Bronx.

Two other notable pardons went to 32-year old Kevin Auyeung, who was convicted of robbery at age 17 and 41-year-old Deborah Salako-Nation who faced larceny and forgery convictions. Both immigrants have shown substantial improvement and are productive members of society, explained a New York Criminal Lawyer.

25-year old Darshini Ramsaran, who was born in Guyana and Trinidad, faced deportation for robbery. Paterson felt deporting Ramsaran would put her life in danger.

Being charged with a crime is a stressful situation for all parties involved and New York Criminal Attorneys have many of the answers. Whether you are looking to depend or prosecute, New Criminal Attorneys will be able to help.

Routine DUI Stop Garners Bank Robbery Suspect Arrest

As popular state and nationwide drunk driving campaigns remind us via road signs and public service announcements coast to coast; You drink, You drive, You lose. According to a New York Criminal Lawyer, that holds doubly true for one 18 year old South Carolina man who was pulled over at a routine DUI checkpoint that came at the worst possible time. According to reports, the man had allegedly just robbed a bank minutes before and was fleeing the scene of the crime when authorities pulled him over at a pre-scheduled DUI checkpoint that was unknowingly very strategically placed.

The mind of a bank robber is no doubt full of worries and concerns, the getaway being one of them. Any number of things can go wrong. This getaway was bungled as soon as it began, according to the New York City Criminal Lawyer. Reports show that the suspect, driving a gold Acura, attempted to turn around once he reached the officers at the DUI checkpoint, which had been set up just 15 minutes prior to the bank being robbed mere blocks away. After his attempt at escaping on wheels failed, the man jumped out of his vehicle in attempt to flee law enforcement officers. After a brief chase he was caught and arrested.

The DUI checkpoint was disbanded at that point, having successfully apprehended a suspect who may have eluded officers for quite some time had the checkpoint not been there to intercept him, reports the New York Criminal Lawyer, though official reports state that the checkpoint was called on account of rain.

Whether the result of poor judgment or just bad timing, mistakes will happen. You or someone you love might one day be affected. A New York Criminal Attorney will be there to represent you and your loved ones in the event that legal action is taking place against you. The Difference between DUI and DWI

DUI, DWI, what's the difference? The question can be confusing to many and the answer varies from state to state. In general, DUI stands for "Driving Under the Influence" and DWI refers to "Driving While Intoxicated." DUI is broader and encompasses driving while under the influence of drugs while DWI typically refers to driving while drunk, said a New York Criminal Lawyer. It should be noted that both terms are criminal terms. In Illinois, for example, one may have their license taken away while not having been convicted of a DUI. What happens is this: upon receiving one's license, a driver agrees to undergo any field sobriety test ordered by a police officer. Failure to do so results in an automatic 12 month suspension of one's license. However, this is NOT a criminal conviction, said a New York Criminal Lawyer. It does not go on one's record and thus does not negatively impact a person's life to the same degree. A DUI or DWI however is a criminal offense and is permanent and can impact one's future to a great degree, reports a New York Criminal Lawyer. This is why it is recommended that a person refuse to take a field sobriety test. While one may lose their license they also make it much more difficult for the state to convict them of a DUI or DWI.

Sticking with traffic related offenses, pulling out of the way of an emergency vehicle is required in many states, said a New York Criminal Lawyer. The general practice is to move to the right but moving to the left is permitted if the driver feels that is safer.

DUI and DWI are serious charges and need prompt legal attention. If you've been charged with either you should contact a New York Criminal Attorney today.

City Correction Officer Claims Police Abuse

A city correction officer claims she was roughed up by police after witnessing a shootout involving cops, sources told a New York Criminal Lawyer. According to her, they forced open her door, attacked her, and held her for three hours.
The 44-year-old corrections officer said she opened her door to her East New York, Brooklyn apartment right after cops and a teenage shooter fired shots at each other in a stairwell one night. She opened the door, fearful for her 18-year-old daughter, who was supposed to be coming to the apartment, sources told a New York Criminal Lawyer. According to police, she was holding a gun at the time.
“Police smashed in my door,” said the corrections officer to a New York Criminal Lawyer. She said they also hurt her 13-year-old son. “They kicked my son and smashed my head off the table. They seized my gun and my badge and detained me for three hours.”
Just after the gunfire ended, the corrections officer opened the door. A 29-year-old police officier was wounded in the hallway from two bullet wounds in his right leg. Cops were attempting to apprehend the 17-year-old shooter on the floor above. He had been shot at least four times.
A deputy police commissioner said the corrections officer was disarmed “as a precaution”. The corrections officer and two teenage boys were handcuffed. “After the smoke settled and their identities were established, the handcuffs were removed.” They returned the correction officer’s gun and badge.
Police can make mistakes, just like anyone else. If you are the victim of one of those mistakes, a New York Criminal Attorney can bring it to light before you suffer unwarranted consequences. You can trust your future in the hands of a New York Criminal Attorney.

Investigator Found Dead in Casino Garage

A high-ranking Department of Investigation officer was found dead of a gunshot wound in his car in an Atlantic City casino parking lot, having apparently taken his own life, sources told a New York Criminal Lawyer. He had been reported missing by New York City police only hours before.
The 50-year-old investigator was the DOI’s inspector general, who’s job it was to look into operations of the city’s Health Department and Medical Examiner’s office.
A spokeswoman for the DOI did not confirm the identity of the dead investigator found in Atlantic City, but she did say to a New York Criminal Lawyer, “We are shocked and devastated at the loss of a wonderful colleague. This is a tragic and personal matter.”
The investigator was currently residing in Brooklyn, and had been reported missing by his family, sources told a New York Criminal Lawyer. The NYPD asked Atlantic City police to look for the investigator and described him as endangered or missing. They were also told to use caution, because the investigator carried a gun as part of his job with the DOI.
Two hours later, the Atlantic City police force were told by a security advisor at a casino that the investigator had been found dead in a tan Honda parked on the seventh level of the casino’s parking garage.
A handgun was found on the passenger side of the car, along with a bag, police told a Queens Criminal Lawyer. It is unknown why the investigator would take his own life.

Charges Against Boyfriend of Anna Nicole Smith Dismissed

A Los Angeles County Superior Court judge has dismissed two charges against the boyfriend of the late model and actress Anna Nicole Smith. He left the other charges, however, to be decided by a jury, sources told a New York Criminal Lawyer.
The judge dismissed two counts of obtaining an opiate by fraud against the boyfriend, a court spokesman told a New York Criminal Lawyer. Smith’s boyfriend was also her lawyer. While those charges were dismissed, he still faces nine counts related to allegedly supplying Smith with powerful drugs.
The judge issued these rulings in the criminal trial of the boyfriend and two doctors connected with Smith. They are accused of providing her with large quantities of drugs and drug possession. Prosecutors say she was addicted to pain medication. Smith died of an accidental drug overdose in February 2007, in Hollywood, Florida.
The boyfriend and both doctors have all pleaded not guilty. New York Criminal Lawyers have learned the judge has also “narrowed the scope” of a conspiracy charge related to the boyfriend and one of the doctors. Prosecutors have already rested their case against the three defendants, sources tell New York Criminal Lawyers.
The judge appears to have some skepticism toward the prosecution’s case in the trial, which began in early August. The defense has no witnesses to speak in their behalf. Closing arguments have already been issued, sources tell New York Criminal Lawyers, and more details should be forthcoming very soon.

Politician Charged with DUI

We elect them in part for their judgment and because we trust them. We give them our tax money and entrust them to make decisions that will impact our communities for decades to come. Which is why it is all the more shameful that a politician was arrested for driving under the influence, said a New York Criminal Lawyer. A field sobriety test revealed that the man had a blood alcohol content of nearly three times the legal limit - 0.21.

The man told police that he went to a hospital because he had pain in his ribs. There, the staff indicated that the man left their custody while under the influence of alcohol, noted a New York Criminal Lawyer. He refused their treatment and went out into the night, all alone, ready to get behind the wheel, indicated a New York Criminal Lawyer. A hospital employee called the police to let them know the politician was driving, drinking, and a danger to the world.

Local officials are trying to determine if the man's conduct violates their code of ethics, reports a New York Criminal Lawyer. If it does they would be able to remove him from office. If not, what does it take? If a politician can drive drunk and remain in office, what else can he do? The man faces a $1000 fine and up to a year in jail. He could, in theory, go to jail for a year and still remain a councilman. The politician had no comment.

If you find yourself facing DUI charges you should immediately contact a New York Criminal Attorney.

Woman Rams Car Past Police

The police used their cars to corner a driver in a Long Island parking lot, but that didn’t stop her from escaping, police sources informed a New York Criminal Lawyer. She merely used her vehicle to ram through the impromptu barricade.
Police sources told a New York Criminal Lawyer that the 41-year-old woman almost ran down a number of officers late one afternoon, setting off a frantic chase that started in Deer Park and continued for 11 minutes until she was arrested, several towns away. “She hit the police cars, pushed them out of the way and kept going,” a Suffolk County police lieutenant told a New York Criminal Lawyer.
The woman was being sought after for a parole violation and arrested in North Lindenhurst. After her arraignment, she was held on an unspecified amount of bail. One of the officers in one of the cars struck by the fleeing suspect’s Ford Taurus sustained a neck injury. The officer was taken to the hospital, where he was deemed to be in stable condition.
It is not yet known to New York Criminal Lawyers how the woman violated the conditions of her parole, but it is known that she has been arrested many times, for reasons ranging from robbery to burglary to drugs to car theft.
She was stopped originally for running a stop sign. She then drove off when the cop walked her paperwork back to his squad car. The woman was charged with 18 traffic citations and counts of second-degree assault and resisting arrest.
Should you or a loved one be charged with criminal activity, it’s time to talk to a New York Criminal Attorney. Proper representation is extremely important, which is why you should be represented by a New York Criminal Attorney.

Four-Year-Old Girl Found Dead in Brooklyn Apartment, New York Criminal Lawyer Reports

A four-year-old girl, who had suffered from malnutrition, was found dead in a filthy Brooklyn apartment, a New York Criminal Lawyer has learned. Police have found evidence she was bound to her crib.
The girl weighed only fifteen pounds and had bruises and marks on her ankles that suggested she had been tied down with twine. Police are still investigating the cause of death, which may have been neglect, or may have just been the tragic ending of the life of a young girl who had spent most of her life in hospitals.
When responding to a 911 call from the home, police found the child on the mother’s bed. Inside the dirty room was a bed for the girl, with two lengths of twine attached to the rails on each end, police sources told a New York Criminal Lawyer.
“There were marks on each of the child’s ankles consistent with her being tied up with that twine,” a police source told a New York Criminal Lawyer. Police are unsure why the mother waited 90 minutes before making that 911 call. She said she found her daughter unresponsive at 6 a.m. but did not call 911 until 7:30 a.m. because she was performing CPR. Her two sons, ages 6 and 9, are now in the custody of the Administration for Children’s Services.
The most painful legal cases involve mistreatment of children, and once charged with such a crime, it is nearly impossible to shed that charge, even if innocent. The assistance of a New York Criminal Attorney can be very helpful in helping you clear your name. No one should suffer for something they didn’t do – a New York Criminal Attorney can help you avoid that.

Brooklyn Woman Claims She Didn’t Assault Cop

The case of a Brooklyn woman who claims she’s the victim of mistaken identity has been put on hold for another two months. She is accused of running over a traffic agent’s foot, according to a New York Criminal Lawyer.
Sources tell New York Criminal Lawyers that prosecutors have requested a postponement in the case. “I’m so disappointed,” said the defendant to a New York Criminal Lawyer, as she left Brooklyn Criminal Court. “I thought they would just drop the case. Now we have to come back again.”
The 39-year-old woman was arrested and accused of attacking a traffic agent after she left a pharmacy in Sheepshead Bay. She emerged to find her car being ticketed. The pharmacy gave the authorities her name and she was picked out of a lineup by the agent she allegedly assaulted. The defendant maintains that she was not the one who did it – it was another woman with the exact same name. She says it was a relative who refuses to come forward.
She has brought forward evidence of her own, including a picture of herself at a yeshiva restaurant in a different neighborhood, taken just 18 minutes before the incident occurs. In addition, she says she drives a different car from the one cited in the complaint. Her lawyer also claims the prescription is for the other woman.

Yale Doctor killed by colleague, says New York Criminal Lawyer

A young doctor was gunned down by an ex colleague earlier this week right in front of his pregnant wife, reports a New York Criminal Lawyer. The motivation for the crime appear to have been an argument from some years prior, when the doctor and his former colleague clashed over an oversight at the hospital. According to the New York Criminal Lawyer, the gunman had left his post in the intensive care unit at the hospital and could not be found for a number of hours. The victim confronted him, possibly even publicly, which may have caused him to lose his job.

The attack took place in front of the victim’s home at roughly 8 a.m. The gunman ambushed the doctor and fired about five or six times. He then opened fire on the victim’s pregnant wife, although he was not able to injure her. The couple’s toddler son was inside at the time and was unhurt. Neighbors did tell a New York Criminal Lawyer that they saw the gunman’s vehicle, but had assumed that it was simply a delivery vehicle. The gunman has been arrested and charged with murder, attempted murder, and a firearms charge. He is currently being held on a $2 million bond.

If you are caught in the middle of a criminal matter, you will require the assistance of a New York Criminal Attorney. These are difficult situations that can affect the rest of your life. To ensure the best future possible, you should get a New York Criminal Attorney on your side.

Student arrested for possession of weapon

A local student was arrested for flashing a BB gun at another student during an apparent argument at the student center of the Nassau Community College. The 20 year old Hyde Park resident was charged by police for menacing, say New York Criminal Lawyers.

The argument had looked to be escalating to a full fledged fight, and when the two students arguing went outside to settle their differences, the unarmed man brought his friends with him, which prompted the suspect to pull out a BB gun in a threatening fashion. Campus security was called to the East Garden City campus, and they detained the student until the police arrived to take him into custody.

The BB gun wielding student was suspended from school until a formal hearing can be held to determine whether or not he will be suspended. A school spokesman told a New York Criminal Lawyer that it was “inappropriate” for any student to bring a BB gun on campus, and he expressed relief that no one was hurt. The gun could have easily been mistaken for a more dangerous weapon and if police had seen him with it, the student could have been very gravely injured. The situation is believed by New York Criminal Lawyers to be most likely unrelated to recent racially motivated letters that were recently discovered at the school.

If you have been charged with any criminal offense, the best option available to you would be to enlist the services of a New York Criminal Attorney. Criminal charges are difficult to overcome, and only an experienced New York Criminal Attorney can give you the most positive outcome.

New York Speeding Ticket Lawyer

A New York Speeding Ticket Lawyer will tell you that dealing with a Speeding Ticket can be complicated. Each county in the State of New York has its own traffic courts and unique procedures for handling speeding tickets. In traffic court, there will not be a District Attorney present. Because of this, when you go to court the judge, a police officer, and yourself will be the only participants. It is important to seek the advice of a New York Speeding Ticket Lawyer in this instance, as often in traffic court it may be only your word against the testimony of the police officer.

It is important to realize that in traffic court, there is no option to plea bargain. Therefore, your only option will be to either plead guilty, or have the matter go to trial. It is extremely helpful to your case in this instance to have a New York Speeding Ticket Lawyer present with you in court. Your counsel can ask the appropriate questions of the police officer to uncover possible inconsistencies with their testimony. Questions can be raised such as exactly how your speed was measured, and whether you speeding ticket points were assessed against you.

The speeding laws in New York are controlled by the New York Vehicle & Traffic Code, Article 30. One of the consequences of a speeding ticket is not only fines and potential license suspension, but points can be assessed against you by the Department of Motor Vehicles. If a driver receives 11 points within 18 months, it is possible that their license can be Suspended. The points assessed for speeding increase with how fast you were going:

Driving 1 to 10 MPH over the speed limit: 3 Points
Driving 11 to 20 MPH over the speed limit: 4 Points
Driving 21 to 30 MPH over the speed limit: 6 Points
Driving 31 to 40 MPH over the speed limit: 8 Points
Driving 40 MPH or more over the speed limit: 11 points and Driver’s License suspension.

These points can accumulate quickly, resulting in high insurance premiums and your license suspension. Obtaining the advice and counsel of a Queens Criminal Lawyer who is well versed with the complex New York Traffic Law and with the New York City Traffic Violators Bureau is important. If you have a suspended license, skilled counsel can help to get your license reinstated.

The courts have merged the New York Criminal Court and the Family Court to properly handle the caseload. It is interesting to note that technically, there is not crime of Domestic Violence per se, but rather a collection of offenses that constitute this crime, committed within the context of a family or blood relationship, or having a child in common. If you are involved in a Domestic Violence conflict, call a New York Domestic Violence Lawyer as soon as possible. It is helpful for all parties involved that the case be handled in one courtroom, by one judge, to better serve the parties involved and eliminate potential bureaucratic snafus.

The critical elements of the crime in this instance would be the illegal entry into the premises, and the actual taking of the property. The crime of Burglary could involve other crimes that could have occurred at the same time, such as a Drug Crime, or Possession of a Small Weapon, Petite Larceny and Assault amongst many others.

The crime of Burglary can have many variables (these variables determine the category of the Burglary). Some variables are: if any injury resulted from the burglary, what type of crime was committed after the person gained entry, and whether or not the person used a weapon during the crime.

These variables are important, as they are what will be argued between your New York Criminal Lawyer and the District Attorney. Having a qualified New York Burglary Lawyer not only will help you navigate through the complex New York Criminal Court system, but will lend you legal guidance and support.

Sex suit filed against actor Steven Seagal, says a Queens Criminal Lawyer

A lady who once was employed as a personal assistant to Steven Seagal has filed a $1
million suit against the actor alleging that the duties he required were too personal,
states a Queens Criminal Lawyer. The former employee claims in her lawsuit that the
martial artist imprisoned her in his Louisiana home. The twenty-three year old was hired
in February 2009 as an executive assistant, and quickly discovered that her
responsibilities extended far beyond the office. The claim states that Seagal provided
lodging for the woman in his house, and on her first evening at the residence, he
requested a massage from her, to which she refused. Seagal, as a result, supposedly
groped her from under her shirt. She reportedly was also expected to be sexually
available to him at any time. While no comment has been made by the action star,
Seagal's attorney informed Queens Criminal Lawyers that the claims are completely
false and the woman was fired by Seagal when it was discovered that she was taking
illegal narcotics. There was no mention of which drugs the young lady was taking. At this
time, it is uncertain if any criminal charges will be filed against the actor. Outside the
accusation of her expected availability, it was not mentioned that sexual activity actually
occurred at any time during her employment beyond the claim of fondling on her first
night at his home. Queens Criminal Lawyers say there is a possibility that the suit was
filed by the former assistant in retaliation of being fired.

Accusations of sexual misconduct are a serious matter, and not something to be taken
lightly. A New York Criminal Attorney can help you fight against false allegations that

Man killed outside Harlem club, states a Queens Criminal Lawyer

A man was shot and killed in front of famous Harlem club, Minton's Playhouse. Police told
a few Queens Criminal Lawyers that the 32 year old victim received a single gunshot to the
head. He died at the scene. Investigation into this incident is ongoing, and no arrests
have been made at this time. An anonymous witness told authorities that he heard one
shot, and went outside to check things out. He saw the man lying on the ground not
moving, but did not report to a Queens Criminal Lawyer seeing anyone else that might
have been responsible for the crime. It appeared that the victim, who was carrying
$1000 in cash and three cellphones, was headed into the building. It is not clear what
his intentions were, as his 2008 Land Rover was parked across the street with the
headlights still on. The man had a history of trouble, having on his record prior arrests
for criminal possession of a weapon, assault, and drugs. There is no evidence at this
time that would point to the motive of the incident and no suspects have been revealed,
according to New York Criminal Lawyers. Police will continue their investigation into this
matter in hopes of finding the person or persons responsible for this act.

Minton's Playhouse was once home to great jazz musicians such as Dizzy Gillespie and
Thelonious Monk, and has been re-opened since 2006. No one associated with the club
was available for comment or to make a statement about this crime.

If you or a loved one is involved with a criminal activity, it is imperative that you contact

A Queens Imam given wrist slap, according to Queens Criminal Lawyer

An Imam from Queens was sentenced to only four days in jail which he had already
served for lying to FBI agents. The imam had been serving as an NYPD informant and
pleaded guilty to telling an Afghanistan immigrant that he was under investigation,
reports a Queens Criminal Lawyer. The immigrant, along with three co-conspirators,
were plotting to kill hundreds with homemade backpack bombs by detonating them in
the subways of Manhattan during rush hour. This knowledge caused the immigrant to
abort his plan, dispose of his materials for bomb, and left the city, which alerted two
other suicide bombers that they too were being watched, compromising the integrity of
the operation. In the plea arrangement, the imam will also have ninety days in which to
leave the United States, says a Queens Criminal Lawyer. He is not allowed to ever
return. He will be leaving behind a successful funeral parlor in Queens, as well as a wife,
children, and his elderly parents. New York Criminal Lawyers state that all of the
bombers that were being investigated by the FBI were trained by al Queda. The imam's
attorney claims that he did everything he could to help law enforcement and it was not
him but the FBI that tipped off the bomber. Prosecutors, of course, disagree with this
profession. The imam, also Afghan-born, revealed to the immigrant that federal agents
had his phones tapped and warned him to not involve himself in the "nonsense" in
Afghanistan and Iraq. At this time, the imam does not know where he will go, but has
hopes that some country will be willing to take him in. He does not have plans to return
to Afghanistan.

Queens Delivery Man Charged with Rape of An Eleven Year Old Reports a Queens Criminal Lawyer

The crime is a decade old. That doesn’t negate the fact that a Queen’s area deliveryman raped an eleven year old girl and sexually assaulted another teenager when he snatched her from her own steps three years later. Steve Bilkis and Associates with their Queens Criminal Lawyers offer free, initial no-obligation consultations for people like this.

The man gave a DNA sample in November after pleading guilty to theft. The investigators then matched his DNA to rapes in 2000 and 2003 and he is also a suspect in at least three more crimes. Queens District Attorney secured John Doe indictments against the DNA samples years ago. And, when the suspect broke into a Woodhaven home in October of 2000 and raped the girl while her parents slept upstairs, threatening to kill her if she told anyone, he sealed his fate, even if it took a decade to do it. Queens Criminal Lawyers are accustomed to cases like this and will advise the man if he wishes.

In July of 2003 is when his DNA was secured after he approached a nineteen year old woman sitting in front of her Kew Gardens home and forced her at knifepoint into a driveway where he raped her. This man needs to find himself a New York Criminal Lawyer immediately as he seems to be in a heap of trouble.

Sudan's President Charged With Genocide-Don't Face Charges Without A Queens Criminal Attorney

Charges of genocide were leveled against Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir, accusing him of trying to wipe out African tribes in Darfur with a violent actions and deportation.

The Sudan does recognize the court and feels the charges are politically motivated.

Luis Moreno-Ocampo attempted to get the court to issue a warrant for the apprehension of al-Bashir so that the millions of deaths he planned could not be carried out in Darfur which is still being attacked by the government-backed janjaweed militia.

The terrible killing continues and must be stopped say Moreno-Ocampo. "Seventy-year-old women, 6-year-old girls are raped," he said.

Moreno-Ocampo was undeterred by concern that his indictment against al-Bashir might ignite a storm of vengeance against Darfur refugees and spur Sudan to shut out relief agencies and possibly peacekeeping troops.

These charges must be persued. No one is above the law and if the evidence shows that these things are going on, justice must prevail. These were the thoughts of Richard Dicker who is the director of the program.

If you or a friend or a member of your family is arrested, hiring a Queens Criminal Lawyer is essential for you. Not having a Queens Criminal Attorney will lead to problems which could in turn lead to incarceration.

Despots like Serb leader Slobodan Milosevic and Charles Taylor of Liberia have been charged with international crimes and brought to justice. Milosevic died in custody in The Hague and Taylor is on trial as this new charge develops.
