Alleged Brooklyn Killer Caught Upstate

The suspect in a Brooklyn murder may already have his case decided for him – the slaying was caught on video surveillance. He was caught in all the way up in Albany, after weeks of searching.
The 20-year-old suspect was identified as the primary subject of interest shortly after an 18-year-old man was shot to death on April 17. A camera showed the suspect riding the elevator with the unsuspecting victim in a building in Brownsville at around 7:30 p.m. that evening.
The victim exited the elevator and the suspect, who had previous brushes with the law regarding weapons, drew a silver pistol and followed him into the lobby, police sources informed New York Criminal Defense Teams.
Another camera captured the suspect as he allegedly shot the victim in cold blood. The victim was not seen on the camera, but it could be clearly seen that the suspect was firing the gun, twice, then a third time toward the ground, presumably after his target had fallen.
Yet another camera showed the shooter throwing away the gun, then leaving the scene quickly, pulling his head low to hide his face as he attempted to make his escape.
It has yet to be revealed who harbored the suspect while he stayed in Albany or exactly how the authorities managed to track him down. Police did release the video of the shooting, however, in an effort to gain public help in catching the murderer. In New York City and Long Island, a charge of Gun Possession would also be filed.
When the police came for him, the suspect allowed himself to taken without conflict and he was returned to Brooklyn for questioning.
Even when the outcome of a case seems like a foregone conclusion, there are important facts of the law to consider. There is the right to a fair trial. There is also the fact that all people are innocent until proven guilty. The law is a complicated thing and it takes someone who has studied it for years to properly understand completely enough to provide the legal defense that is the right of every person arrested by authorities. A New York Criminal Defense Team is just such a resource – with the experience, tenacity, and knowledge to make sure the law is applied evenly.

A Man Was Shot For Attempting to Save the Life of His Son says a Long Island Criminal Lawyer

Regardless of where justice comes from, the heart, heaven or the criminal justice system, sometimes believing that justice will be served is the best way to cope with the loss of a loved one. A mother of two boys, a seventeen-year-old and a seven-year-old, discussed how her husband was shot while their oldest son watched. She believes the criminals shot the man after he refused to lie down on the ground. His wife believes he did this in order to prevent the murder of both he and his seventeen-year-old son

Apparently the would-be robbers approached the father and son demanding that both men lie down on the ground. The seventeen-year-old did as he was told but his father remained standing. His widow believed he did this thinking that if they both were lying down the men in possession of a weapon and demanding money would just shoot both of them and that by not lying down he was at least saving the life of his own son. The man & his wife had been married nineteen years.

Two men have been charged with the death of the landscaper who came to the United States from El Salvador fifteen years ago. Another suspect is also being sought at. The alleged gunman pleaded not guilty to charges of second-degree murder and first-degree attempted robbery. This criminal said he shot the man because he would not lie down. He was being held without bail and ordered to return to court next month. Another suspect, an eighteen-year-old, pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder. This suspect was found with a bullet in his pocket that matched the one that killed the El Salvadorian father.

Security video in a nearby delicatessen was seized by authorities confirmed the details of the shooting. As it was, the victim was shot in front of his son and possibly in order to save his life although he had no money to give the would-be robbers.

Mother Over-Doses 8-Year-Old With Ground-Up Prescription Medication States a Suffolk County Criminal Lawyer

A deranged woman, a distraught father and ex-husband and an extremely confused grandmother all try to make out the details behind the supposed murder of an eight-year-old boy. They could use a Suffolk County Criminal Lawyer. The father, who lives across the country, said he thought that the grandmother of the child had identified the little boys body. However, he learned after 48 hours that the little boy’s body remained in the medical examiner’s office without a proper identification. The mother is suspected of the crime in which the child was apparently fed ground up prescription medication.

The mother, who is now in a psyche ward, had emailed a relative indicating that there was a problem. The police burst into the home only to find an incoherent mother babbling. And, the mother also left a suicide note suggesting that more information could be found on the computer. Obviously the crime lab has the computer and will be examining it for further information. Drug Possession was not an issue here.

The Law Firm of Steven Bilkis and Associates with its Suffolk County Criminal Lawyer could help a young father determine what and why his ex-wife would commit such a horrible crime. The autopsy was inconclusive and the child’s father who was distraught said the woman was a good mother and he couldn’t imagine why she would do such a thing. The father was also decidedly upset that his son was left unidentified when obviously relatives much closer to the family could have made the identification. He was planning to make the trek across the country to identify the little boy and hopefully gets some answers while planning a burial.
