Clarence Mobley, a 60-year-old inmate, died on Saturday after fighting with correction officers at the Rikers Island Correctional Facility. The South Carolina native was found unresponsive in his cell on Saturday night at the Anna M. Kross Center at Rikers Island. Earlier that evening, Mobley had assaulted a corrections officer with a meal tray and had been subdued and moved to a separte holding pen.
