It’s been reported that Singer Songwriter Eric Carmen was arrested for DUI / DWI last night in Ohio. In an official statement from Ohio Law enforecement which included details of the accident, the spokesperson stated that Carmen crashed his vehicle into a fire hydrant. There was no report of injuries. Carmen is known as the man that brought you ’80s hits “Hungry Eyes” and “All By Myself.”

Carmen was found next to a half-empty bottle of vodka.. The singer, who was the leader of the pop group The Raspberries handed the arresting police officers his credit card instead of a drivers license and then came up about three times the legal limit in the Buckeye State. The legal limit in OhIo is .08 BAC DWI / DUI which is the same as that in New York.

Carmen could be facing some serious consequences of this arrest as it is his second for DUI / DWI. It further appears Carmen is in need of counseling as this the amount of alcohol in his system was very near the level of alcohol poisoning and appears to be consistent with a binge drinking problem. A judge has sentenced Sidney Lowe II, the son of North Carolina State basketball coach Sidney Lowe to 15 months in a low-security prison farm on a host of charges, including robbery and kidnapping.

Lawyer Locke Clifford said Tuesday that Judge Henry Frye Jr. sentenced Sidney Lowe II to a total of 11 years in prison, but then suspended the sentence to 15 months. The judge also proclaimed that Lowe serve five years of probation.

Robert Chambers’ girlfriend, Shawn Kovell, stated in state Supreme Court a few months ago that she and Chambers sold drugs to an undercover detective. This will allow Kovell to receive a sentence of probation. Her lawyer said that she was a drug addict at that particilar time and that it was her first arrest.

Chambers became a tabloid favorite after the death of Jennifer Levin as they engaged in a sexual encounter in New York’s Central Park. She was a graduate of the Baldwin School and was just 18 years old. The murder created headlines and the fact he was a good looking, privileged prep school youth who went bad added to the sexiness of the story.

Chambers pleaded guilty in 1988 to manslaughter and was released in 2003. He served the maximum 15 years because of discipline problems behind bars which included drug dealing.

Brian Keith Patch, an overaged skateboarder who starred at the X Games, will be arraigned Wednesday on a charge of having sex with an underaged girl.

A Canadian schoolteacher charged with sex crimes against a 9-year-old boy goes on trial this coming Monday in Thailand. He was arrested last year following a worldwide manhunt of International Police Agencies.

The court statement said that Christopher Paul Neil, 32, pleaded not guilty to the charges leveled against him. He has worked in many countries in Asia, teaching young children..

Neil was apprehended in Oct. of 2007 after the police uncovered digital images from Internet photos, which allegedly show Neil in the act with youngsters.

Campbell Charged Over ‘Luggage Rage’-Don’t Face Charges Without A New York Criminal Lawyer

Lawyers and prosecutors are in agreement that Naomi Campbell has been charged with assaulting two police officers during an altercation which tood place at the luggage claim area at Heathrow Airport.

The supermodel was charged when she reported to Heathrow police station to answer over the fracas which took place in April of this year. At least that’s what was reported by her attorney.

Campbell was aboard a BA flight which was scheduled to leave for LAX when she became involved in a squabble over her luggage. Many thousands of bags had been lostat Heathrow’s Terminal 5 after its disorganized opening in late March.
