A New York Criminal Lawyer reports a Kings County man put under arrest for murder.

by

A 49 year old Williamsburg, NY resident was drinking close to his home this week when he got into a fight with another man. Kings County Police report that the incident happened at Maria grocery; which is located at 373 Broadway, Brooklyn NY 11211. The grocery store has a pool table in the back of the store and allows patrons to play. Reports show that the aforementioned man was intoxicated as he got into a fight with another man who was playing pool. It is unclear why the men started arguing, but it ended with the suspect shooting the man once in the chest. The shot was fatal. The other people in the store did not suffer any injury. Reports do not indicate if the shooter had been drinking at the store, or had arrived intoxicated. Kings County Police put the shooter under arrest for criminal possession of a weapon and murder. Bail was remanded. He will be arraigned in Kings County Criminal Court; located at 120 Schermerhorn St. Brooklyn, NY 11201.
