Jenna Plumley, a starting player on Oklahoma’s women’s baskerball team has been suspended after her coach learned that the athlete was arrested for petty larceny.
Coach Sherry Coale said that Plumley will retain her scholarship but will not be a part of the team this year. Coale cited Plumley’s inability to do what was asked of her for the disciplinary action.
Authorities report that they picked up the player at Wal-Mart when she was spotted trying to steal makeup. The charge carries a small fine and the possibility of jail time.
