One time Velvet Revolver member Scott Weiland entered jail in California. He will serve eight days for a second DUI/DWI conviction. A report from the sheriff’s office said that Weiland showed up on time to begin his sentence on Monday.

The wayward singer has been sentenced to a jail term and ordered to pay thousands in fines for his various DUIs. He has been attending a class on alcohol rehabilitation and education. He also pleaded no contest to a previous DUI charge on April 28.

Weiland, 40, has had any number of collisions with the authorities over the years: He was convicted of DUI after a 2003 apprehended in LA arrested on domestic-violence charges in 2001, and arrested for illegal use and possession of drugs in the 1990s.

Josh Werkman who manages the careers of children has pleaded no contest to a charge of child molestation and a charge of selling of alcohol to a minor. Werkman’s plea was entered this week in Los Angeles Superior Court. He will be sentenced on April 2.

The theatrical manager controls the careers of Cole and Dylan Sprouse who star in the the Disney Channel’s “The Suite Life of Zack and Cody.” The Sprouses were NOT mentioned as being a party to this case. Merimark Entertainment produces the series and Werkman has also produced the Sprouse twins’ two latest screen releases.

Anthony Pellicano, a PI, was convicted Thursday on federal racketeering charges for using his connections to find out information for his well to do clients so that they could use this info to their advantage in lawsuits and divorces as well as contract disputes against celebrities.

Pellicano, 64, was accused of eavesdropping on people like Sylvester Stallone, Gary Shandling and Kevin Nealon. He used his connections with law enforcement and their records and databases to help clients in their court battles which usually involved large amounts of money.

After an argument which ended in gun play, Makeda Barnes Joseph was injured. Remy Ma, aka Remy Smith, was sentenced to 8 years’ jail for her involvement in the encounter last summer. Remy and Joseph argued over money in NYC. Remy’s gun went off. Remy maintained that the gun was not meant to go off…it was an accident.

Remy cried when she got her sentence. Eight years was a long time but she got off lightly. She could have gotten 25 years for her obvious street sensibility and stupidity.

Another suspect has been identified by Prosecutors in Miami in the murder of NFL football star Sean Taylor. Ed Griffith said Wednesday that 16-year-old Timothy Brown is charged with first-degree murder under a sealed warrant.

Richard Quest, 46, was arrested around 3:40 a.m. on a charge of possessing illegal drugs which is a misdemeanor that usually refers to a personal use amount of a drug. He was arrested near Central Park. He was loitering and acting strangely when the patrol car pulled up.

Quest admitted he had meth in his pocket. The cops detained him and a complaint was filed. The complaint stated that Quest admitted he had a bag containing methamphetamine in a pocket on his person.

STK restaurant was the scene of a hit and run incident. A woman who was identified as Heather Auger allegedly hit someone and has been charged with felony.

The L.A. County D.A. arrested her and she was charged with leaving the scene of an accident, DUI, in Nassau County that would be DWI, incurring harm dand driving with a high amount, over the limit, blood-alcohol level. All of these charges are considered felonies.

Law enforcement officials reportedly made an arrest in the robbery and assault case involving Denver Bronco Javon Walker.

Police say the arrested man was charged this week with any number felonies. there is a belief that another man is involved in the kidnapping and robbery and authorities are searching the Las Vegas area on the lookout for the other suspect.

Police have reported that the NFL player entered a vehicle along with the men. He was later found on the street. Walker was beaten badly and rushed to the hospital near the Las Vegas Strip.

An eighteen year old faces a charge of abusing an old person he’s accused of harassing his barely competent grandmother by forcing her to put on a black mask and threateningly wield a pistol. He was making a video for his sick amusement. Law enforcement official in Lake Worth, Fla., say the Grandma is ranting and raving about killing cops. The “Dr. Phil” staff of his television show posted bail for a youngster who was incarcerated in Florida for being caught on a video taking part in the assault of one of his contemporaries. Dr. Phil’s rep did not deny that indeed this was the case. She confirmed that this was the situation on Saturday.

Employees of the show which is a popular afternoon show aided helped Mercades Nichols – who is one of the many teens facing charges in the case – post bond this weekend, an email stated.

Terri Corigliano is a spokeswoman for Dr. Phil. She claims that the show has aided guests in the past. The have helped people in various ways including monetary reimbursements for travel and clothing.
