Accused of assault on a man he found in his home, Glen Rice was apprehended by police in Miami. Rice is the former basketball star who played at the University of Michigan and in the NBA for several teams.
Rice surrendered to police after an incident at his estranged wife’s home. Rice entered the home and confronted his wife about a man he found in a closet in the house. He demanded to know the identity of the individual who was crouching in the closet in the master bedroom. He obviously suspected that the man was involved with his ex since he seem to have something to be afraid about.
Rice attacked the man in the closer who was identified as Alberto Perez, 37. He ran from the residence and called police. Perez suffered injuries which sent him to a local hospital where he received nine stitches.
