Richie Sambora struck a deal with prosecutors Tuesday just hours after they filed drunken driving charges against him, pleading no contest to one misdemeanor count of driving with a blood-alcohol level above the legal limit.

A spokesperson for the district said that another charge of DUI would be dropped.

Sambora is now serving a probation term of three years in which he has to keep himself drug and alcohol free while driving any vehicle. Sambora is the lead guitarist for the rock star Bon Jovi.

Four women who were contestants on “Pauper to Princess” were held against their will at a Florida house. The show which is a reality show was being shot in the house and the would be director and writer who was identified by authorities as Marc Brilleman was arrested for holding the women against their will.

The show tries to change ordinary, everyday women into women who are attractive enough to be princesses.

Robert Ritchie who is better known as Kid Rock had his lawyer put in a plea of not guilty to charges in a court hearing in Atlanta. Kid was not in court himself but his attorney tool care of business. Rock was involved in a fight in a local restaurant and the charges had to do with whatever took place there.

He did have representation as should you if you are charged with a crime or misdemeanor in Long Isand. A Nassau County attorney will make sure that your rights are protected and that a misdemeanor charge does not escalate into a felony charge. Cops arrested the rap rocker and five members of his posse last October on misdemeanor charges of simple battery. The group had gone to the restaurant after a performance when the fight allegedly broke out. According to police, a customer at the Waffle House recognized a woman in Kid Rock’s party and exchanged words with her, allegedly inciting Kid.

Accused of assault on a man he found in his home, Glen Rice was apprehended by police in Miami. Rice is the former basketball star who played at the University of Michigan and in the NBA for several teams.

Rice surrendered to police after an incident at his estranged wife’s home. Rice entered the home and confronted his wife about a man he found in a closet in the house. He demanded to know the identity of the individual who was crouching in the closet in the master bedroom. He obviously suspected that the man was involved with his ex since he seem to have something to be afraid about.

Rice attacked the man in the closer who was identified as Alberto Perez, 37. He ran from the residence and called police. Perez suffered injuries which sent him to a local hospital where he received nine stitches.

Twin stars, Cole and Dylan Sprouse, need to find a new manager. Josh Werkman will be off to jail for selling alcoholic beverages to a minor and child molestation. Werkman is the twins manager and producer of their two most recent movies. He was sentenced on the 2nd of April.

The Sprouse twins star is The Disney Channel’s show, “The Sweet Life of Zack and Cody.”

Neither Disney’s nor Merimark’s representatives had any comment. Werkman was charged with more serious crimes but the charges were reduced.

In 1974, Colombian immigrant German Solano Perez shot Autoro Fortuny. Perez’s wife had daughter with Fortuny, whom Perez was raising as his own. Fortuny came to Perez home seeking to see his daughter. A fight ensued, and Perez shot Fortuny six times.

Queens Criminal lawyer attorney Stephen Bilkis was Perez’s defense attorney when in 1974 he pleaded guilty to second-degree manslaughter. The judge release Perez on his own recognizance. But Perez didn’t appear when his sentencing date arrived, because of the language barriers, he thought his case had been settled. Attorney Bilkis said, “My client thought he was sentenced to probation 32 years ago.”

Attorney Bilkis said, “He wasn’t hiding from anyone.”

Orange County police had to wrestle once NFL quaterback Josh Booty to the ground after stopping and pulling over his car. He was tased and suffered injuries but was finally subdued. He was suspected of DUI.

After being pulled over, Booty became belligerent and had to be brought under control by the cops.

Booty’s younger brother is the QB at USC and currently works an a sportscaster on radio and TV.

Police say they got a call warning of a possible drunk driver. When Nye County Sheriff’s deputies pulled the car over, they discovered it was being driven by none other than Heidi Fleiss. Cops say during the traffic stop they found prescription narcotics for which Fleiss was unable to produce a valid prescription.

Fleiss, 42, and a passenger in the car, John Owen, were found to be under the influence of a controlled substance, the sheriff’s office said. Fleiss was arrested on four counts, including possession of dangerous drugs without a prescription and driving under the influence. Owen, 53, was arrested on charges of being under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.

Neither Fleiss nor Owen had any comment on the arrest and it is unknown whether or not they have legal representation. Owens is an unknown and attempts to reach him have gone unanswered.

Whitney Houston’s former husband, Bobby Brown is back in court. He was appearing in Brockton, Mass. concerning a charge which hasn’t been made as of yet.

The court is still deliberating over whether or not to charge Brown with possession of cocaine. Brown showed up thinking he would have to defend himself against the charges but as it turns out the decision of authorities will take anywhere from a few days to a week to come down,

Brown has been in and out of trouble for the last number of years, keeping his lawyers very busy.

An Arlington woman was arrested for beating her 7-year-old stepson with a broom for eating before dinner, authorities said yesterday. Elisha Pinckney, 20, repeatedly struck the boy in their apartment on Grandview Avenue near Brabant Street at about 5 p.m. Sunday, sources said.
