A pair of Bear Stearns execs have been arrested. The Feds will charge them and make them face criminal charges as the subprime market falls into a debacle.

Matthew Tannin was arrested when authorities confronted him at his home in New Jersey and Ralph Cioffi was apprehended at his New York City home. This took place on Thursday morning according to FBI reports.

Elsewhere, The U.S. attorney’s office was set to bringother serious charges later Thursday.

A father who was so stupid to have cocaine on his fingers as his baby teethed has been sentenced to serve a life sentence.

Along with the life sentence, Dennis Ray Driver, 26, was also fined for his incredibly idiotic actions. The felony murder of his son, Dennis Jr., took place when the father was using.

Driver said he dozed off while the child was also asleep and lying on his chest. When he came to, the child wasn’t breathing and the baby died shortly after this. This all took place at the parent’s home on Dec. 28. You can’t be more irresponsible than this person.

Who knew that Mary Ann of Gilligan’s Island fame was not able to drive without endangering people. Dawn Wells is now serving probation after being caught with marijuana in her car.

She served a short sentence and paid a small fine. Reckless driving was the official charge.

Under a plea agreement, three misdemeanor counts were dropped.

State Assemblyman Adam Clayton Powell IV was charged with DWI after the cops reported him driving dangerously and then failing to pass a breathalyzer test last night.

The State Assembly rep from East Harlem was pulled over while driving on the West Side Highway in Manhattan. It was early morning when he brought attention to himself.

Law enforcement said that Powell displayed many of the effects of alcohol use including the inability to speak clearly and eyes that seemed watery. He also smelled of alcohol and was operating his vehicle in an unsteady way. A complaint was filed in Criminal Court. Powell maintained that he only had a couple of drinks and certainly wasn’t a danger to others.

Law enforcement sources state that the controlled substance Jason Davis — aka Gummi Bear — was busted with over the weekend was in fact cocaine.

Davis was popped by LAPD on Ventura Blvd. in Van Nuys on Friday night. He posted $10,000 bail on Saturday and is due back in court on March 10.

We’ve learned the grandson of the late oil gazillionaire, Marvin Davis, was stopped by LAPD traffic cops on Friday night. Cops say they found a controlled substance — and then arrested Gummi and threw his ass in the pokey at around 7:30 PM.

The Game checked into the Twin Towers Correctional Facility tonight to begin serving his sentence for pleading no contest to a felony charge of possession of a firearm in a school zone.

Last month, Game (real name Jayceon Taylor) was sentenced to 60 days in jail, 150 hours of community service and three years probation.

If he was not represented by an attorney his sentence could have been even more harsh. Scott Weiland’s rehab days are over for the moment. His lawyer confirmed that the always in trouble rock star was released from the rehab facility.

His Lawyer, Tony Brooklier, reported that the rocker finished 28 days in a treatment. He seems to be handling the ordeal pretty well.

When the actor did not show up for a court appearance he was required to make, a warrant was issued for Baldwin who is on probation.

He was supposed to report to the judge on his drug treatment and how it was progressing. He told his probation officer that he would not be able to make his hearing but the judge was not told about his excused absence.

Baldwin pled ignorance to the fact that he was supposed to call the court himself. Now he must enroll again in another drug program. The court removed the warrant for his arrest.

Charles Grant the NFL player who was involved in a fight in a club has been charged with manslaughter. It was involuntary which is a bread for the Saints Lineman.

Korynda Reed was taken to a local hospital after the incident but did not make it. Grant along with Laquient Macklin was arrested even though he suffered a stabbing injury to his neck. An Early County grand jury issued the charges.

The NFL continues to have smirches as it tries to live up to the name the National Felon League.
